Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran had temporarily canceled flights early Saturday after alarms went off in western part of the capital.

All flights to and from the airport were stopped for an hour. The situation reported “normal” after almost two hours.

Alarms went off for "about half an hour," according to social media users.

Two sources affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards told Avatoday that IRGC’s radars were shut down.

“No one knows why the alarms went off,” they said on condition of anonymity.

Another source said records show that the corps radar system has been targeted by a cyber-attack but did not provide any evidence.

Al-Hadas newspaper claimed on Saturday that the incident in Tehran might be due to a cyber-attack.
