According to information received by Avatoday on Friday, Iranian security forces arrested a former army officer and moved him to Evin prison in Tehran.
Masoud Faraji form Iran’s Ilam province was arrested last summer and has reportedly been tortured by prison authorities before relocating him to Evin prison.
He has been accused of “spying for anti-regime opposition groups” but he denied affiliation with any political parties.
Faraji has resigned from army about 15 years ago.
