While thirty days have passed since the start of the ongoing war, reports from Iran indicate that on Sunday evening, the ninth of Farvardin, and early Monday morning, several cities including Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, and Ardabil witnessed explosions and airstrikes.
According to these reports, around 23:15 on Sunday, several strong explosions occurred in Tehran, including in the north and northeast of the city, and air defense systems were widely activated. At the same time, domestic media reported at least four explosions in western Tehran. According to Ham-Mihan, the sound of the explosions shook central and northern parts of Tehran, and air defense systems were also activated.
Meanwhile, reports indicate attacks on several locations in Tehran, including Langari Street in District 1, the Shean area in District 4, Sarcheh Hesar Park in District 13, around Qasr-e Firuzeh in District 15, and the Chowgan area in District 21. According to Mashregh, areas including Tehranسر, Shahrak-e Gharb, Ekbatan, Saadat Abad, Mehrabad Airport, and Satarkhan were among those targeted.
Khabar Online also reported limited explosions in eastern Tehran.
Iranian media on Sunday night reported heavy airstrikes on Tehran and Karaj and power outages in parts of these cities. The Ministry of Energy confirmed the power cuts and later announced that electricity had been restored in some areas.
In Shiraz, according to Didban Iran and Ham-Mihan, several explosions were heard and fighter jet activity was observed.
In Isfahan, Isfahan University of Technology announced that following an attack on one of its research centers, several buildings were damaged and four staff members were slightly injured.
In northern Iran, the governor of Mazandaran told Mehr News Agency that a telecommunications tower in the mountainous areas of Nowshahr was targeted. Also, according to Mehr, in an attack on Bandar Pol port in Hormozgan, five people were killed and four injured, and two vessels and a pickup truck were damaged.
In Gilan province, the deputy governor reported the death of six people in an attack on a site in Shaft. Economy Online also reported an explosion in Ardabil.
The Israeli army also wrote early Monday on its Telegram channel that it is “currently attacking regime targets” across Tehran.
In another message, the Israeli army stated that “within dozens of air sorties carried out, the air force conducted more than 140 attacks” against Iranian infrastructure, including missile launch and storage sites that pose a threat to Israel, along with air defense infrastructure.
