The ministry stated that the UK’s ability to assist British nationals in Iran is now severely limited. The embassy is operating remotely, and no in-person consular services are being provided, even in emergency situations.

Meanwhile, China’s state news agency reported that the China has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Iran and urged those currently in the country to leave “as soon as possible.”

At the same time, the United States Department of State announced that the departure of non-emergency US government personnel and their family members from the US mission in Israel has been authorized.

These warnings were issued following the conclusion of the third round of negotiations between Iran and the United States and amid an expanded US military presence in the region. Washington is demanding zero-percent uranium enrichment by Tehran, while Iranian officials maintain that they will not halt enrichment activities.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, Donald Trump, President of the United States, briefly outlined his arguments regarding the possibility of a strike on Iran during his annual State of the Union address. He emphasized that while he prefers a diplomatic solution, he will not allow Tehran to obtain a nuclear weapon.
