Iranian Intelligence agency has formed several teams to prevent information leakage on Coronavirus breakout in media, a source told Avatoday on condition of anonymity.

“The directorate of Iranian Ministry of Intelligence in Kermanshah has formed a team to control personals in medical centers in order to prevent any data leaks regarding Coronavirus,” the source from Kermanshah University of Medical Science said.

Controlling surveillance cameras in medical centers and monitoring the phone calls of medical staff are allegedly the main responsibilities of these groups.

“Today, almost all the staff have been threatened and accused of giving information to enemies,” the source added.

Hundreds died and thousands are reportedly diagnosed with the new coronavirus in Iran, but the government is accused of hiding the information.
