Saeed Mohammad, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters, an engineering firm owned by Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGCs) announced on Saturday that it entered the country’s petrochemical sector.

“Ten petroleum refineries have been suggested to the Iranian Oil Ministry by the armed forces,” Mohammad told IRGCs’ news agency, Fars News.

US Department of Treasury Sanctioned Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters since February 2010 for funding IRGCs and boosting its military operations in the region.

Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters was created in 1980s during Iran-Iraq war which has taken control over Iran construction and several other industry sectors since then.
