Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will not be meeting the US President Donald Trump, the country’s state media reported on Monday.
Reports have previously talked about some possible meetings of Iranian officials with US President on the sidelines of the United Nations Summit.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi ruled out the possibility of such meetings today and said, “there is no such a plan or agenda and it will not happen.”
The remarks came after two major attacks against Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, which Iran is blamed for by Washington.
