Eqbal Barazandeh and Somayeh Beidi two Iranian activist have been accused of “acting against national security” by Iranian judiciary, sources told Avatoday on Friday.

A Danish news agency on Friday claimed that the number of infected people with Coronavirus in Iran is much higher than reported by the state.

Avatoday sources in several prisons across Iran said that the situation inside prisons are critical as detainees suffer from shortage of sanitary supplies. The sources also added that so far, no political detainee have been freed.

A source in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed to Avatoday late on Monday that 156 patients with Coronavirus died across Iran in past 24 hours.

The new coronavirus outbreak in Iran has so far killed hundreds of people while thousands more are infected with the virus.

Avatoday, TEHRAN – Dozen employees of Iranian automotive factories of Saipa and Iran Khodro are diagnosed with Coronavirus while dozens more are suspected to be infected with the virus, a source told Avatoday.
