Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Monday said that the issues related to Iran nuclear talks are moving forward.
“Issues related to Iran, the EU, Russia, and China have been solved and the outstanding issues between Iran and the US are moved forward by the coordinator,” Khatibzadeh explained according to Iran’s Ilna News Agency.
Speaking in his weekly press conference on Monday, Khatibzadeh also confirmed that the fifth round of talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which was reportedly held on Thursday last week.
It was unclear when the talks between Iran and world power will resume.
Iran and the US have been engaged in long-running indirect negotiations in the Austrian capital to revive the deal, known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), with Britain, China, France, Germany, and Russia.
Earlier, Khatibzadeh claimed that all the elements of the maximum pressure policy by US must be removed and there are multiple issues between Iran and the US in negotiations, which need to be solved before reaching a deal.
