The public relations office of Iran's terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Kermanshah Province announced that two members of the terrorist IRGC were killed and two others wounded on the evening of June 29 after unidentified gunmen opened fire at the entrances of their homes in Paveh County.

According to news websites in Iran's Kurdistan, citing the public relations office of the terrorist IRGC in Kermanshah, the attack took place outside the residences of the two IRGC members in Paveh. The report described the attackers as "armed terrorists."

Iranian authorities identified the two IRGC members killed in the attack as Borhan Krisani and Khaled Khaledi.

At the same time, several Kurdish news outlets reported that responsibility for the attack was claimed by a newly established group calling itself "Khori Hiva" ("Sun of Hope").

They said it could not independently verify either the group's identity or its claim of responsibility.

The Kurdish outlets also identified the two deceased as Khaled Khaledi and Borhan Krisani and reported that two other members of the terrorist IRGC were seriously wounded in the attack.

The incident is the second of its kind in recent days. A few days earlier, Iranian media reported armed clashes near the city of Baneh, while media outlets affiliated with the terrorist IRGC said that at least three military personnel were killed and five others were wounded in the fighting.
